This 2,300 s.f. single-story L-shape custom home expresses the idea of walls as structural privacy "screens" vs. a "boxing in". Views and natural light are prominent throughout the home. The artist, Mondrian, was an inspiration inside and out. The home utilizes passive "green" strategies such foam insulation, high-efficiency windows, advantageous solar orientation, and proper exterior shade overhangs. An enclosed courtyard pool was designed for
privacy in the future.
